- In maths, we are finishing up our unit on patterns.
- We continue to work on naming and representing numbers between 11 and 20. Many students struggle to remember the names of these numbers in French. Another challenging concept in grade 1 is understanding place value (16 vs 61 for example).
- Mme Sarah is teaching the Superflex program. It is a Superhero Social Thinking Curriculum that teaches social thinking skills. She will be teaching these skills all year as part of the health curriculum.
- We have extra music practice this week and next with the grade 2s. Students are eager to sing for you all on Dec 17th.
Homework: 10 minutes daily of French literacy with an adult
