Reminders:

- Friday May 17th – no school for students
- Monday May 20th – No school Victoria Day
- Students came home with their 3 pigs puppets last Friday. We hope they were able to retell the story at home in French.
- This week we are moving on to a new story – The Three Billy Goats Gruff. The version we read in French is called Les trois chèvres. The characters in our version are sisters instead of brothers giving us lots of practice reading all the feminine adjectives that are spelt and read differently (petit/petite gros/grosse).
- In maths, we continue to work with ten frames and subitizing. Ten frames also help us understand place value (ones, tens, hundreds).
Homework – les devoirs: 10-15 minutes of daily French literacy with an adult
- Thursday is the day we visit the library and exchange our home reading books. Please pack the duotang and classroom levelled reading books inside the large Ziplock bag. Please also pack your library books for Mme Bossio.
